Arsene Wenger Turns Down Real Madrid Offer

Arsene Wenger had now confirmed that he will still be in charge of Arsenal Football Club for the start on the 09/10 Premier league season.

Wenger emerged as Real presidential candidate Florentino Perez’s top target to take charge at Santiago Bernabeu, should the former supremo of the Spanish club win the forthcoming elections.

But even though I would say that Arsene would have been tempted, He is a man of his word and with a contract till 2011 he has decided to stay at the Emirates Stadium.

I know that a lot of Gunners fans have mixed emotions about the frenchman, getting frustrated on his lack of activity in the transfer market to tempt World Class Players to join his young Gunners.

But when you look back on some of his buys he is like the Del Boy of Premership wheeling and Dealings, getting top young unproven players and making them into quality Players.

I Personally think that with a couple of good signings Like Sergio Ramos (Real Madrid), Marcos Senna (Villarreal CF) and Carlos Tevez (Manchester United) Would turn the Arsenal Team around into true contenders for the Premiership Title race.
