Wayne Bridge goes into Premature International Retirement.
Wayne Bridge has made himself unavailable for selection for the England national team, claiming his presence was potentially divisive to the squad. The Manchester City defender and Puma King Football boot wearer released a short statement this morning, which effectively leaves Fabio Capello without both his first-choice left-backs for Wednesday’s friendly with Egypt.

Premier League Shopping lists for the January Sales
Arsenal
Budget £30m
What they need For all Arsène Wenger’s talk about buying a striker to cover for the absence of Robin van Persie, Arsenal would benefit enormously from a dependable goalkeeper capable of underpinning a title challenge with more confidence than the shaken Manuel Almunia. Depending on the injury situation in midfield, they may also have to scour the market for a midfielder with more experience than the promising Aaron Ramsey. If Philippe Senderos is allowed to leave, a centre-back will be needed.
Possible ins Marouane Chamakh (Bordeaux, £4m), Edin Dzeko, right, (Wolfsburg, £25m), Carlton Cole (West Ham, £10m), Igor Afinkeev (CSKA Moscow, £20m), Robert Green (West Ham, £5m)Craig Bellamy (Manchester City £12m)
Possible outs Philippe Senderos (Roma, £2m), Jack Wilshere (Burnley, Fulham, West Ham, loan)

Pro Evolution 2010 vs FIFA 10
Nike or Adidas? Pacino or De Niro? Coke or Pepsi? Beatles or Stones? The millions of preferences we all have are, in many ways, what define us. At this time of the year the biggest decision for Football/Gaming fans is what do you buy Ea Sports Fifa 10 or Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 ?
Whether or not you’re a Fifa or Evo ‘person’ is a classic example of this. As a footballing gamer , it’s likely that you and your immediate peer group are devoted to either one chapel at the other, sneering at followers of the other, inferior religion.
