Lovell Soccer Premiership Players to Watch - Michael Ballack/Chelsea
With only 4 days to the Premiership kick off, there are a few Premiership Clubs and Players out to prove a point and try and lift the Premiership Trophy.
The one player that I feel has to make his mark this season will be Chelsea’s Michael Ballack.
He Joined Chelsea in 2006 from Bayern Munich, along with Andriy Shevchenko this double signing was meant to take the then current Premiership Champions on another step!
What it did do was to start the begining of the end for the Jose Morinho era.
With poor performances from both players with Shevchenko firing blanks and Ballack not linking up well in midfield with Frank Lampard(Adipure II).
Michael Ballack is one of Adidas’s Boot Ambassadors and has been Wearing there Adidas Predator for most of his career.
Ballack is also one of the few players at the moment wearing a blacked out version of the New Adidas Predator Truestrike, that will be released in November
Since that season though Ballack has in my opinion gone from strength to strength and to re sign him for another season was a great bit of business.
It looks that Chelsea this season will take on another step to regaining the Premiership Trophy that Manchester United took from them 2 seasons ago.
Ballack is one of those players who has got so near to lifting major silverware throughout his career but just misses out at the final hurdle.
The Community Shield that Chelsea won on Sunday by beating Manchester United on Penalties, shows Ballacks desire to win at all costs, with his BLOCKING of Evra(Nike Laser) for Chelsea’s 2nd goal.
On his day Ballack can bring out the best in Chelsea’s key players by Holding the midfield and giving such players as Dider Drogba (Nike Superfly), Nicolas Anelka (Puma V1.08) Joe Cole (Nike Legend)and Frank Lampard(Adipure II) to bomb forward all the time.
