Review Nike CTR 360 Elite Football Boots Sapphire Blue/Black
Having always been a Speed boot wearer I wasnt really expecting too much of these boots in the way of lightness, But when you are spending £240 on a pair of boots , you should expect everything !!!
Sizing & Breaking In
I tried on a Uk size 8 in these and Unlike the Laser Elite Boots I did think that , these fit true to size.
The padding around the ankle makes the Boot feel like a slipper from the moment you slip them on,the width is spot on for my feet as well where it doesn’t pinch on the sides unlike my old Superfly’s did at the beginning.
Design
Nike had to do something after the awful Ronaldinho range of plastic looking boots, So they designed the CTR 360 with the Midfielder in mind, to be very honest they did a good job on the cosmetics, I really like the touch areas on the upper of the boot and the passing ‘Predator’ vamp on the instep.
Company Logo Placement
The most iconic thing about all the Nike boots is the Swoosh placement, This is just on the outside of the boot which contrasts very well against the Metallic Sapphire Blue, The heal has a nice touch with the black fading into the Blue.
Technology
The Nike Elite Series optimizes four of Nike’s key football boots with premium materials and decreased weight for competition on sports biggest stage this summer. Available to players at all levels, these super light and incredibly strong silhouettes will be worn by the world’s best, Spain’s midfield dynamo Cesc Fabregas. Featuring new uppers in Metallic Mach Purple and Total Orange to improve on-field visibility, designers analyzed the color spectrum to identify two high-contrast colors that trigger increased focus of peripheral vision, which can help a player spot a teammate more quickly for a game-changing pass. The carbon fiber engineered soles strip weight to the absolute minimum while maximizing strength. The Elite Series also incorporates Nike Football+ for exclusive insider access to the world’s best coaches, players and teams for total game improvement.
Negatives
The main thing that goes against the boot in my opinion is the Price, I think that £249.99. is a lot for any boots, I know a lot of companies are putting there price up to £200 +.
Final Thoughts
Having tried on a lot of boots recently through worl, you can see why a lot of Pro Players wear the CTR360 Elite Football Boots, over other dated styles.
If Nike had of put the side vamp on the front it would have been a better boot to rival the Predator, the lightness and the style, I mean the original boot is so good the Fabregas wont take them off.
Who Will you see wearing them?
Jack Wiltshire - Arsenal & England
James Milner - Manchester City & England
Iniesta - Barcelona & Spain
Landon Donovan - La Galaxy & USA
