Wolves Ebanks-Blake Championship Player of the Year

Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Sylvan Ebanks-Blake has been named Championship player of the year at the fourth Football League Awards in London in association with football magazine 442.

The 23-year-old beat Reading’s Kevin Doyle (wear ing his Puma King football boots) and his Wolves team-mate Michael Kightly (Puma V1.08 Football Boots) to the top prize.

Costing £1.5million in the January 2008, Ebanks Blake has proved to not only one of the best buys of recent times but also a prolific goalscorer.

Winning last seasons Goldern Boot and leading the way this year with 24 goals with his trusted Nike Laser II Football Boots.

Sylvan Ebanks-Blake also won the goal of the year award for his wonder strike against Charlton in March last year.

The question a lot of people will ask is Can he do it in the Premiership ?

I Know that a lot of Wolves fans have been craving an Old fashioned Centre Forward to take over the mantle that has been left by There Icon Steve Bull.

I believe that Ebanks-Blake will be a premiership player next season and his form along with Michael Kightly could be a factor for them staying up.
